Food Vendor Categories 😊

We love having food vendors at Ogden Arts After Dark, and to keep things running smoothly, we need to be very clear about the two food vendor categories. Please read through the section that applies to you before signing up.

🚚 Food Trucks & On-Site Food Assembling Vendors

(Advance approval required)

You fall into this category if any part of your food is cooked, heated, or assembled at the event. This includes:

• Cooking or heating food on-site

• Assembling food on-site (even simple assembly)

• Using grills, burners, fryers, warmers, or other cooking equipment

• Operating from a food truck, trailer, cart, or cooking tent

If food preparation or assembly happens at the event, you are not considered a table-based food vendor.

Because space, power access, safety requirements, and overall layout are limited, these vendor spots require advance approval, and pricing and placement are handled separately.

• A short description of what you serve

• Whether anything is cooked or assembled on-site

• Your setup details (truck/trailer/cart size, power needs, cooking equipment, etc.)

✨ Important note: Food trucks and On-site Food Assembling vendors are available only for the summer outdoor series and are not part of the winter indoor markets.

🧺 Table-Based Food Vendors

(No cooking, no assembly)

You are a table-based food vendor if all food is fully prepared and packaged ahead of time and nothing is cooked, heated, or assembled at the event.

This category includes:

• Pre-packaged Baked goods

• Packaged snacks

• Grab-and-go food items sold from a standard vendor table

If this sounds like you, you can sign up through our regular vendor registration—no pre-approval needed. Just register, pay, and you’re in.
