What's the Ogden Arts After Dark?
Ogden Arts After Dark is the people’s night market, built to spotlight local artists, food makers, and the creative heartbeat of Ogden. It’s where art stays accessible, community stays centered, and the city gets to feel alive after dark.
OAAD is brought to you by OgdenCAN, a community network uplifting East Central Ogden through creativity, connection, and care; Cultura & Craft, a local nonprofit celebrating cultural traditions and community arts; and the team behind The yART Sale, a queer-friendly grassroots artist market built on showing up, making space, and keeping art community-centered.
This series isn’t just about vending.
It’s about visibility, connection, and what becomes possible when artists and food makers take up space together.
During The Winter:
During the winter months (Nov–Mar), Ogden Arts After Dark gathers indoors at Two Bit Bistro inside Bigelow’s Lobby. Think warm lights, close conversations, and a packed room full of local art, good food, and neighbors actually hanging out. It’s intimate, creative, and the kind of event that makes winter feel less like survival and more like community.
During The Summer:
In the summer (May–Sept), OAAD moves outside to Dumke Arts Plaza in downtown Ogden, transforming the space into an open-air creative hub built for wandering, gathering, and lingering on warm nights.
Each month, the plaza fills with local artists, makers, and food vendors, plus a steady flow of community coming to explore, eat, connect, and enjoy the evening together. It’s vibrant, welcoming, and rooted in collaboration.
Open Mic + Open Gallery
At each event, we host an Open Mic and an Open Gallery so more artists can be part of the night. The Open Mic welcomes poetry, music, storytelling, and comedy, giving local voices a stage in the heart of the market. The Open Gallery is free and open to everyone. Anyone can bring art to display for the evening, even if they aren’t a vendor. No application, no fee, no gatekeeping. Just show up with your work and take up space.
Together, we’re reimagining what it looks like when creativity, culture, and community take over the night.
How Do I Get a Vendor Spot?
When vendor spots open, we offer them to our waitlist first as a thank-you for being early supporters. After that, any remaining spots will be open to the public.
The best part? No application required. If there’s a spot available, it’s first-come, first-served, and once payment is received, your spot is officially secured.
