When the world shut down in 2020, the creative community lost many of the spaces that held it—markets were canceled, galleries closed, and artists were left without places to gather or share their work. In response, Audrey, the artist behind Hey Be Fab, turned her own backyard into something bold and necessary: a market made for community, connection, and showing up exactly as you are.

The very first yART Sale was held in September 2020 with 15 vendors and just over 100 guests. It was small, scrappy, and full of heart. And it didn’t take long to grow. By the next summer, the yART Sale had become a staple in Ogden’s creative scene, with over 80 vendors, live music, food trucks, and hundreds of attendees.

But it wasn’t just a market—it was a movement.

The yART Sale quickly became a space for the artists who didn’t quite fit the mold. The first-timers. The in-betweeners. The side hustlers, the dream chasers, the queer creatives, and the beautifully unpolished. It was a space rooted in inclusion, expression, and community over competition.

Over the years, the event expanded to include mentorship opportunities, connection-building, and traditions like the beloved yARTie Awards and cozy yARTie parties for vendors.

In 2023, the yART Sale outgrew Audrey’s backyard and found a new temporary home in partnership with South Ogden City at the 40th Street Park. The energy was still there—but the heart of the event kept asking for something more grounded, more aligned.

In 2024, the yART Sale found that home at the Oasis Community Garden, a lush and intentional space in downtown Ogden lovingly run by the Junior League of Ogden. It was a return to roots—quite literally—and a beautiful reflection of the community the event had always been meant to serve.

Now, in 2026, the yART Sale enters its next chapter:
A once-a-year event held every FALL, returning to its original timing and honoring its intention to stay meaningful, manageable, and community-centered.

Vendor applications remain waitlist-only to keep the event curated, intimate, and full of heart.

Because the yART Sale has never just been about selling art—
It’s been about building something together.
