Before Your First Market:

Utah Tax Info

The State of Utah requires us to collect business info for every vendor at special events.

Please submit yours below:

The yART Sale Market Day Basics

Location: Oasis Community Garden, 2445 Monroe Boulevard, Ogden
Market hours: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Group photo: 10:30 AM on the Great Lawn near the music area
Setup deadline: Everyone must be fully set up and ready by 10:30 AM
Load-out: Begins after 5:00 PM. Please remain completely set up through the end of the market.

Load-In Times

Load-in is staggered because the garden has one small entrance and a limited loading zone.

  • Great Lawn booths: 7:00 to 8:00 AM

  • Madison Plots tables: 8:00 to 9:00 AM

  • Monroe Plots tables: 8:30 to 9:00 AM

  • Food trucks: 9:00 AM onward

Please arrive during the time assigned to your section. Give yourself enough time to unload, park, return to the garden, move everything to your space, and finish setting up by 10:30 AM.

How to Get In + Unload

All vendors must enter through the east-side alley off Monroe Boulevard.

Approach from 24th Street, turn south onto Monroe Boulevard, and then turn right into the alley shown on the load-in map. Event signs and volunteers will help direct you into the loading zone.

The loading zone is the only place vendors may unload.

  1. Pull into the loading zone and unload all of your items into the designated staging area.

  2. You will have approximately 10 minutes to unload.

  3. Move your vehicle out of the loading zone immediately.

  4. Park in one of the approved vendor-parking areas shown in green on the map.

  5. Return to the loading zone on foot.

  6. Use your wagon, cart, or dolly to take your items from the loading zone to your assigned booth or table.

  7. Finish setting up at your assigned space.

Do not take your items to your booth while your vehicle is still in the loading zone.

No vendor vehicles may drive to the Great Lawn, Madison Plots, Monroe Plots, garden paths, tables, booths, or other assigned vendor spaces. This applies even if your setup is heavy or your space appears accessible by vehicle.

Please bring a wagon, cart, or dolly and arrive prepared to move your own setup. Volunteers may be available to help, but volunteer assistance cannot be guaranteed.

Performers

Performers will receive a separate email with their performance time and arrival details.

A basic sound setup will be available, and Bucky will be there to help everyone get set up.

If you need to bring instruments or additional equipment, please park first and then carry or cart everything to the covered performance area. The loading zone will not be available once the market begins.

If you can no longer perform, please call Audrey directly at least 48 hours before the event, whenever possible, so there is time to adjust the schedule or find a replacement.

Parking Map

Parking

After unloading, park only in the approved areas highlighted in green on the parking map.

Do not park:

  • In any area marked in red

  • In the loading zone

  • In alleys or emergency-access lanes

  • In front of driveways, gates, or garden entrances

  • In spaces belonging to neighboring homes or businesses

  • Anywhere prohibited by posted street signs

The garden is located in a residential neighborhood, so please park thoughtfully and make sure residents can still access their homes.

We are keeping closer parking available for guests. Once you park, walk back to the loading zone to collect your items and start setting up.

Booth + Tent Rules

Every vendor has an assigned booth or table number. Check the vendor map before event day and set up only in your assigned space. Please do not switch, move, trade, or share spaces without approval. The layout has been planned around the garden’s narrow paths, available shade, vendor needs, and guest flow.

6×4 Table Spaces

Your entire setup must fit within your 6×4 footprint, including:

  • Table and chair

  • Products and displays

  • Signs

  • Storage bins

  • Tent legs, weights, or patio umbrella

Nothing may extend into the walkway or a neighboring vendor’s space. If your usual setup is larger, please bring a smaller version that fits comfortably within the space. A small tent or patio umbrella is required; rentals are available if needed. Remember, your layout must fit completely inside the 6×4 footprint.

10×10 Booth Spaces

Your entire setup must fit within your 10×10 footprint, including your canopy, tables, chairs, products, signs, storage, and tent weights. These spaces require a 10×10 canopy. Patio umbrellas may not be used as a replacement for a canopy.

Tent Weights

Tent weights are required on every canopy and umbrella.

Bring a minimum of 25 pounds per leg and make sure everything is secured before the market opens. This applies even if the weather feels calm during setup. Wind can move through the garden quickly, and an unsecured canopy is a safety risk for everyone. Place weights where they will not block the walkway or create a tripping hazard.

6× 4 Tent Rentals

Only vendors who reserved and paid for a 6×4 tent rental should expect a tent to be provided.

A tent rental does not include your table, chairs, displays, signage, or other booth supplies. Please bring everything else your setup requires.

Power

Vendor electricity will not be available.

Plan for your booth to operate completely without an outlet. Do not bring extension cords expecting to connect to garden or event power. Charge your phone, card reader, and battery packs before arriving. If part of your setup requires electricity, bring a safe portable power option that does not create excessive noise or interfere with nearby vendors or performers.

What to Bring

  • Your canopy, tent or umbrella that is appropriate for your assigned space

  • At least 25 pounds of weight for each tent or umbrella leg

  • Tables and chairs

  • Products, displays, price labels, and signage

  • A wagon, cart, or dolly for moving everything from the loading zone

  • Weather protection for yourself and your products

  • A charged phone, card reader, and portable battery pack

  • Cash and change if you accept cash payments

  • Trash bags and basic cleanup supplies

  • Water, snacks, sunscreen, and layers for changing weather

  • A helper or booth buddy, if possible, so you can take breaks during the day. Volunteers may be available, if needed.

Food Trucks

Food trucks will be assigned either to the circle driveway or the street-front space along Monroe Boulevard. Follow volunteer directions when you arrive and set up only in your assigned location.

All trucks must remain on paved surfaces. Food trucks may not drive or park on the grass.

Food trucks may begin arriving at 9:00 AM and must be completely set up and ready to serve by 10:30 AM.

Power

Electricity will not be available. Plan to be fully self-sufficient with your own generator, battery system, or other safe power source.

Keep generators, cords, equipment, and customer lines within your assigned area and out of all driveways and walkways.

All food vendors are responsible for meeting Weber-Morgan Health Department requirements and having the proper permits for their setup.

Bringing a Pet?

Well-behaved pets are welcome at the yART sale! Please keep them leashed and under your control at all times, and come prepared to clean up after them. The garden can get busy, so make sure your pet will be comfortable around crowds, children, food, and other animals.

Your Vendor Space

Your assigned booth or table number and the event map will be available in the shared Google Drive folder. We’ll also email them to you and share them in the vendor Instagram chat.

Please review your assignment before event day and save the map to your phone so it’s easy to access when you arrive.

Meet Your Booth or Table Buddies

See who will be set up near you and reach out before the event. Introduce yourself in the Instagram chat, follow each other, share each other’s work, or simply say hello.

Knowing your neighbors ahead of time makes setup smoother, gives you familiar faces when you arrive, and helps the whole market feel more connected. You’ll be spending the day together, so you might as well become art-market pals before the gates open.

Help Spread the Word

The yART sale grows because people share it. Your personal invitations, posts, and messages help bring people into the garden and introduce them to the artists behind the work.
